Rental Car Luggage Policy

Please read these luggage guidelines before using our car rental services.

1. Carry-On and Personal Items

Each rental vehicle has limited space. We recommend each passenger bring one carry-on bag and one personal item (e.g., handbag, backpack). Ensure items fit safely in the trunk or passenger area.

2. Checked or Stored Luggage

Larger items that do not fit in the passenger area should be placed in the trunk or cargo space. Be mindful of your vehicle's luggage capacity to avoid overloading.

3. Excess Luggage Fees

If your luggage exceeds the vehicle's capacity or rental agreement limits, additional charges may apply. Fees depend on the rental vehicle type and location.

To avoid extra charges, check your luggage size and weight before pickup.

4. Restricted and Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, certain items are not allowed in rental vehicles, including:

Please consult local regulations or contact our team for clarification.

5. Lost or Damaged Items

Travel O Cost is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle or lost during the rental period. Please secure your belongings and report any damage immediately.

We recommend checking your vehicle thoroughly upon pickup and return.

6. Special or Oversized Items

Large items like sports equipment, musical instruments, or oversized luggage may require additional arrangements. Some items may need a larger vehicle or roof storage.

Contact our team in advance to confirm allowances, fees, and proper packing.

7. International Travel Considerations

If renting a vehicle for travel across borders, luggage restrictions may vary by country. Review rules and limits with your rental agreement and destination regulations.
